Starting in the spring of 2008, The Dover Farm located in Dover, MA will be offering a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. The Dover Farm, while not certified organic, believes in growing practices that are sustainable, using no synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. By joining in the mutual commitment of a CSA, members help to support the farm in the spring when the costs of running a farm are highest, which also helps to keep your local farming community strong. In return, the farm commits to helping you eat locally and in-season, by growing the freshest, healthiest food available to you and your family and providing a greater connection to your land and the seasonal cycles of a New England farm.
The farm is offering 75 shares at a cost of $650 for a total of 20 weeks (May through October).
Shares can be picked up at the farm, 59 Main St, Dover, MA on Tuesdays or Thursdays.
Work shares are available – contact us.
CSA members will also receive discounts at the farm stand.
If you would like more information or to sign up, please download the CSA Sign-up Information Sheet and mail to: The Dover Farm, 5 Edgewater Drive, Dover, MA, 02030.
